||Attend the mandatory orientation – This is A 90 minute presentation introducing the program scope, requirements and commitments followed by a Q+A. YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONCE AND SIGN IN TO BE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR THE COURSE.
Please have the following information prepared before you start filling out the course registration form:
- Personal information.
- Work history and skills background.
- Employment history and contact information for up to two employers/positions for the past five years.
- Three professional references. People who know your work performance within the last four years.
- Practicum availability. You will need to specify what times you are available to complete the 20-hour practicum

Once you complete steps 1 and 2, we will be in touch to complete following steps:
||Proof of Education – Provide copies of high school diploma or equivalent. If applicant has completed a higher education degree, copies of credentials must be included.
||Tuition Payment – Course tuition: $600.00. Includes Language Proficiency Assessment (non-refundable $100), registration fee, course textbook, bilingual medical dictionary, paid practicum opportunities and a Certificate of Successful Completion, after passing the course final test and completing the practicums.
||Reading Comprehension Assessment and Language Screening – VCI conducts these two initial screenings followed by a Language Proficiency Test conducted by Language Testing International. VCI will accept Language Testing International proficiency scores between Advanced Mid to Superior only.
||A New Mexico state background check to ensure the applicant does not have a criminal record.
